The car was originally built and raced in Belgium and Holland in their VW Cup Championship; it was then brought over to the UK where it has been racing for the last 16 years off and on.
It has competed in VAG Trophy, Pre 93 Touring Cars, Project 8 Saloons and CSCC Tin Tops with lots of success including over 40 class wins. It currently runs in the Classic VW Cup.
It runs a 2 litre 16v with twin 45 Webers, producing around 180bhp whilst weighing in at 885kgs
